ALIAS; The Emoticon; AKA "Emo"
AGE; 23
LOCATION; Tranquility, Maxi Retirement Community; Southern California, Wildstorm Universe
OCCUPATION; Villain; Employed at the Chik'n'go (headcanon)
APPEARANCE;
BACKSTORY; Emo's real name is Craig [Last Name Unknown]. He's the grandson of the villain known as the Typist. He lives near Tranquility and visits whenever he wants to start shit for whatever reason. When Emo was young, he was relatively respectful of elders but he had a mean streak. He was also very bitter towards the Typist for being a dick and knocking up his grandmother. One night, he went to rob the Typist who, not knowing who he was, knocked him out and buried him up to his neck in his garden. He tortured Emo for three days, leaving him without food or water, except for the water that came from the hose when he sprayed him in the face. On the third night, Emo admitted to him that he was his grandson; the Typist was surprised but willing to help Emo become a real villain - he already had (and I quote) the "athleticism, unquenchable rage [and] an astonishing legacy" to help him be the Coolest Villain Ever. He was just missing one little thing: tragedy.
That's when his grandfather took a hand rake to his face.
After that, Emo just became a pretty big nuisance. I won't spoil the actual plot of Welcome to Tranquility, but he was arrested for murder/accessory. For the purposes of roleplay, instead of saying he got a reduced sentence for heroism that he displayed in the second set of comics, I've implied that he was given a special sentence by request of the town of Tranquility. He's not allowed to go more than 20 miles outside of Tranquility and has to complete a year's worth of community service, which is why he works at the Chik'n'go.
PERMISSIONS; If you're psychic, feel free to pick up on any of this backstory in logs; he's got it on the back of his mind a lot. Uhhh, other than that, ask me if you think you want something from him and I'll tell you if it's okay; short of character death, though, I'm usually pretty open.
